Moderator for eleven NCM 20 groups made up of five import/high-line and three domestic dealers/general managers as well as three specialty fixed operation groups consisting of parts managers, high-line import service managers and independent service center owners.

Retail Experience

Possesses over 28 years of fixed operations experience (retail and wholesale), primarily in parts management with import dealers and manufacturers.
Following graduation progressed quickly to parts manager for a multi-line import dealership in Salt Lake City. Promoted to fixed operations director for a start-up Toyota dealership in Logan, Utah. Served as Special Projects Manager (Fixed Operations and CSI) for a Midwest dealer group with twelve franchises. Facilitated process improvement meetings with management and front-line staff that resulted in CSI gains and increased profitability in parts and service.

Wholesale Experience

Recruited by Saab USA to serve as District Parts Manager in southern California, after one year became Regional Parts Manager (Western US). Promoted to Market Planning Manager-Parts.

Training Background

Sales and marketing manager for Los Angeles based automotive and aerospace training firm whose clients/projects included:

NISSAN - Conducted in-depth financial statement and dealership operations training for corporate and field personnel.

MAZDA - Developed and launched delivery procedure training for dealership sales and service department employees which resulted in higher SSI and Initial Quality scores.

LEXUS - Boosted SSI and product knowledge scores by providing sales people with user designed competitive comparison pocket reference guides.
