Tony has been involved in the retail automobile industry for more than 36 years. After leaving the University of Tennessee, he began his automotive career as a retail salesperson in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to joining NCM Associates, he held most positions in the retail dealership and worked with a major domestic automobile manufacturer.

During his tenure with NCM, he has worked with numerous 20 groups and been responsible for all projects associated with publicly traded clients and automotive manufacturers. Additionally, as Director of NCM’s International Operations, he established operations/associations in Europe, Japan, Latin America, South Africa and Australia.

Monthly, since 1995, Noland has written a column for Ward’s Dealer Business, the Management Magazine for Auto Dealership Professionals. He has been a guest speaker at numerous conventions in the United States, 20 group meetings, state automobile dealer association meetings and at three major consolidator annual meetings.

Noland has also been privileged to speak to automobile dealers and manufacturers in many countries throughout the world including Europe, Japan, Mexico, South America and South Africa. He has spoken at three AICPA Conferences and at the J. D. Power Roundtable.

Noland, along with Jeff Sacks, is the co-author and a presenter of the General Manager’s Boot Camp, a course designed to assist in the education and skills of tomorrow’s leaders in the automotive industry.

Personally, Noland is married with 2 sons. Being an avid outdoorsman and a former contender on the B.A.S.S. Bass Master Professional Fishing Tournament Trail, he now spends his free time preparing for his next profession, promoting and teaching youth fishing and nature education.
