Define and understand ‘Operational Excellence’:
  • Become a leader who champions & drives ‘Operational Excellence’
  • Understand the business opportunites of your dealership & how to construct a game plan to realize these opportunities

  • Implement an action planning process that covers managers & associates

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • SSuccessful graduate of a past NCM GM Bootcampsm session
  • Dealer Operator or General Manager (unless exempted by NCM from this qualification)
  • ‘Somewhat PC literate’ & must bring a laptop to the Bootcamp (power strips to be provided)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Each participant will receive a copy of the course materials on CD
  • Participants must bring with them to the Bootcamp:
    • Current Financial Statement
    • YTD Journal (and/or Schedule) Detail of certain pre-defined accounts
    • Tools used for 'tracking' certain pre-defined key results areas (activities and results)

Our Instructors:

General Manager Bootcamp Instructor Garry House joined the NCM In Dealership Solutions Division in 1995. His analytical background, coupled with his “Let’s make it happen!” attitude, assists in identifying, quantifying, and implementing profit opportunities and affords him the ability to develop strong, long-term relationships with Dealer Principals and their key management personnel.

Garry is renowned as one of the few qualified Full Dealership (‘turn-key’) Trainers and Consultants in the retail automotive industry. His expertise and availability extends to Departmental Solutions in Accounting and Administration, New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Operations, Financial Services Management, all elements of Fixed Operations, and Special Projects.

Garry is the co-author of a GM training course for a public cap and is also credited with authoring and conducting numerous training programs for Dealership Operators, Dealers- In-Training, Chief Financial Officers and Controllers, and Department Managers for both individual dealerships and multi-store operations. He also functions as the NCM Training Partner to Sonic Automotive, Inc.

General Manager Bootcamp Instructor Jeff Sacks, President of Jeff Sacks & Associates (an NCM Company), is considered one of the premier experts in dealership operations. His accounting and business finance degrees, coupled with his practical “in the seat” operational experience, have allowed him to offer his unique insights to automotive clients worldwide.

Jeff has been involved in the auto industry since 1977. He merged his consulting practice and became principal with Dixon Hughes PLLC (formerly Dixon Odom), a leading automotive CPA firm, in 2001. In 2005, NCM and Jeff Sacks finally merged after collaborating for many years on various joint initiatives, including General Manager’s Bootcampsm, Executive Financial Management Bootcampsm and Financial Statement Bootcampsm.
